Lu’umilja Rainforest (LOO*OOM-meel-hah)

To the south, the Weesik (WEE-seek) cultures dwell within the Lu’umilja rainforest. The Weesik are at the forefront of understanding astrology, mathematics, and divine writing. Their complex calendars and star charts make their divinations second to none in Yolotli. They are the keepers of the Under-Realm and their Druidic Circle of Bones and their allies, the Camazotz batfolk are tasked with protecting the many cenote gateways into the land of the dead. Through their mastery of metaphysics and knowledge of the underworld, the Weesik hope to find a way to permanently empower the gods of the dead, so that they can move past the need for constant mortal sacrifices.
