Pandæmonium

Surrounding the Known Universe sphere is a black nothingness called Pandæmonium, according to the writings of Zaffa the Idiot, a demigod of poetry and broad thinking. Floating within this nothingness are large masses of somethings, some of which are on fire, some of which are even habitated by sapient species of their own. From this brief description, Zaffa proceeds to list these somethings off, describing them succinctly with brief descriptions of colour, size and material makeup.

Pandæmonium is one of only two known "forces"—for lack of a better term—known outside the Known Universe, the other being the jittering, destructive chaos known as Kos. It's unknown what connection, if any, these two states have with each other.
