Honored J. Tetzet
A coin in the the tithe coffer brings salvation, or may the blessed lady herself provide your money back!Infamous and irreplaceable in equal measure, the Monk and Master of Coin the 'Honored' Josephius Tetzet is the financial mastermind behind Blessed Bishop Elena Havik's expansion into the Southern Isles. A member of the Monican Reconciliationists, Tetzet was once a powerful merchant in Bon Vivant who lost everything during the halfling induced stock crisis. Instead of striving to restore his fallen banking empire, he turned to faith, quickly rising as one of the few Monicans who knew accounting as well as they knew Monica's teachings.
In the Southern Isles, he serves as the man who is counted on to keep the tithes flowing, tax exept statuses preserved, and wealthy donations abundant. His 'agressive' tactics such as selling of indulgences and rumours of selling lesser church positions for Astral diamonds have made him perhaps the most despised Monican in the isles, but both the Inquisition and Church would struggle mightily without his acumen.
