Righteous Indignation

The Righteous Indignation is a Sword Class Frigate, heavily modified by generation upon generation of the Perseus Dynasty. While appearing outwardly to be no different than any base-line Imperial frigate fresh from the manufactorums of Mars or Cypra Mundi, the interior of the Righteous Indignation would be nigh-unrecognizable to the Adepts of Mars.

History

The Righteous Indignation departed Scionis Secundus over two decades ago, leading a small flotilla of transport and merchant vessels on a void expedition of "unimaginable potential". Captained by Heracles Perseus, leader of the Perseus Dynasty, the Righteous Indignation plowed dauntlessly into the Halo Stars... never to be heard from again.
Carrying the best and brightest of the Perseus Dynasty, as well as much of its wealth in the form of expeditionary supplies, bonded Astra Militarum forces, Adeptus Mechanicus explorators, and even possibly agents of more obscure Imperial Adepta, the loss of the Righteous Indignation was a devastating blow for the fortunes and prestige of the Perseus Dynasty.

Present Status

Having lost contact with the Perseus Dynasty and the wider Imperium for almost a quarter century, the Righteous Indignation is now considered lost by all but the most hopeful (and some would say naïve) members of the Dynasty. Despite this, loyal servants of the family keep watch for the ship's miraculous return on the Dynasty's orbital enclave on Port Eisen.
