The Black Wolf of the Grissenwald

A great 'Black Wolf' stalks the forests surrouding Grissenwald, Southern Reikwald Forest and the Northwestern Stadtstaat of Nuln. Rumours circulating through the beer halls, taverns and inns of the region, tell of an event. The 'Geheimnisnacht Horror', that occured in Ambosstein not to long ago. There it is said, the villagers cunningly lured the 'Black Wolf' into an inn where they trapped and dispatched him. However, if this was true then why has the attacks and sightings of the 'Black Wolf' continued to haunt Grissenwald forest.

Perhaps the Ambosstein Roadwardens or Inn Keeper might have some more tangible information?
