The Overlords
The Overlords, sometimes known as the Old Folk, are a species of ancient aliens who are known for their advanced technology. They first came from a nearby dimension roughly 2 million years ago, where they settled n the land known as the North before spreading all over Ka'a'.
The Overlords taught the races of Ka'a' many things, such as nuclear-technology and complex science. Some of their inventions include "telephones" and "trains", a few of which still function. They also invented electricity, radios and cameras. Their knowledge changed Ka'a' for the better, and for the worse.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Overlords were known for one special thing; their reincarnations. It is said that, when an Overlord died or was killed, their "soul" (they had three souls; Mind, Spirit, Will) would enter into another body, Overlord or not. As, after casting away worn out garments and taking new ones, the embodied Overlords encounter other new bodies every time they meet death. It is said that an Overlord can be reincarnated indefinitely, with the Prophet having been said to have been reborn over 5000 times.
Overlords will be reborn in a pattern of 4 stages; spirit, person and Overlord.
It said that an Ovelord's brain contains, on average, about 7396-billion nerve-cells called "digineurons", each individually linked to other digineurons by way of connectors called Glaxons and Tendrites. Their minds can compute multiple thought-processes at once, enabling them to think many different thoughts at the same time without struggle.
The Overlords had two forms: their Guise and their True Forms.
Guise
Their "Guise" form is a humanoid shape, similar in appearance to a tall Sapien. They share characteristics with common folk. Their only recognizable feature is their tentacled left limb, which is composed of a wrist with four long tentacles instead of fingers. With this special limb the Overlords could grip multiple objects at once, and fight swiftly in hand-to-hand combat. Their third eyes are not visible when in their Guise. Their tentacled left arm is also an indicator of their True Forms.
True Form
Similar in shape to Chaos-Overlords. The True Forms of the Overlords are their natural forms. They appear as large floating octopus-like beings, about three meters in height and five meters in width. They have three large gentle green eyes as big as apples, with their third eye being how they foresaw the future. They each have nine long tentacle limbs covered with multiple suckers. Each tentacle is tipped with a glowing green orb of flesh. These fleshy orbs, known as "Knobs", are sensory-organs that feel stimuli in the environment. In their True Forms, the Overlords are faster and can manipulate technology at fast paces. They are also better at fighting and using spells. However, they rarely reveal their true forms in public so as not to scare people.

Biological Traits
Traces of their DNA are found in the Sapiens and commoners and Vedda of a nearby dimension. Each Overlord possessed seemingly superhuman abilities, the most important of which was immortality. Some were born with their abilities naturally, while others received them through artificial genetic intervention using advanced technology. However, every Overlord was known to be effectively immortal, never aging and capable of ultimately healing almost any injury as a result of their extraordinarily rapid and efficient cellular regeneration. It is this capability that is responsible for their name. Overlords have been known to survive dismemberment, suffocation, decapitation and even directed energy assaults, their bodies always regenerating and even bringing them back to life after clinical death.Their only known weakness is pure moonlight, which acts as a form of paralyzing agent to them. If exposed to moonlight, they turn to stone. However, they will reform once sunlight strikes their skin.
Genetics and Reproduction
Their method of reproduction was Cloning, through a process known as Whole-Brain-Emulation [WBE: the process of scanning the mental state (including long-term memory and "self") of a particular brain-substrate and copying it to a computer. The computer then runs a simulation-model of the brain's information-processing, such that it responds in essentially the same way as the original brain, indistinguishable from the brain for all relevant purposes, and experiences having a conscious mind. This new computerized brain is then uploaded into a physical organic body, normally the body of an infant. Therefore, the infant will receive all the past knowledge of the original and will think and act in the same way as the progenitor, with slight differences].

The most advanced among all the races, akin to the gods themselves. A force known as "Magitech" appears to be one of their best and most dangerous inventions.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
They speak Oldspeak, also known as "High-Talk". They also spoke a secret language known as "Tonal": this language had no writing system and was considered secret and holy. It had 51 recorded sounds: Á, À, Ā, É, È, Ē, Ẹ, Í, Ì, Ī, Ó, Ò, Ō, Ọ, Ú, Ù, Ū, Ṣ, G, Gb, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, Qu, R, S, T, W, Y, Kp, Ng, Nj, Nd, Ndh, Mb, Mp, Mf, Nk, Nkh, Nt, Nth, Dz, Ds, Ts, Tz, Sm and Zm. The language was kept so secret that written records of the language are nonexistent. The only thing known about Tonal is that it was spoken for a few hundred years before the Overlords went extinct. It is unknown if there are any speakers of it today.

History
After a period of conducting experiments in a nearby dimension, the Overlords (what remained of their original species) moved to new lands. The closest dimension was Ka'a', which was already populated by the Abra-Comanches. The Overlords settled in the land and taught the natives about their technologies. Through genetic-editing, the Overlords created a second species of Comanche known as the Sapiens, who would later pla a more infulential role in the history of Ka'a'.
The Overlords encountered the Elves and Foxlings, who they educated and taught how to build houses. They continued this system of education for a long period of time, resulting in many notable people such as One-Eyed Barnabas receiving wisdom from them.
The Overlords established political organizations, becoming the main governing force behind Ka'a'. The Overlords founded the Order (a conglomerate of various Druidic organizations) to act as the main government of Ka'a'.
During their time of existence, they established many technological marvels. Telephones and computers, flying aircraft and vehicles that could drive on water. But of course there were people opposed to the rule of the Overlords.
There were battles, conflicts among the various groups that had now formed against the Order. And finally, after the formation of the DoS and establishment of various new rules and regulations, the Order split into six Factions.
The Order, or what remained of it, maintained control over the Factions, although the Factions had grown out of its jurisdiction. Keeping silent watch over each group, the Order was slowly being rebuilt. And then the Extinction occurred.
The remaining few Overlords were caught in a conflict between the Prophet and the Red-Wizard. There was a fierce and brutal battle, in which all of the Overlords (now numbering a few thousand) were wiped from existence. The two Overlords remaining, the Prophet and Red-Wizard, killed themselves. And the Overlords have been extinct for the past 100 years.
