Borchek Stonehide
Borchek Stonehide grew up in Waterdeep, the son of a skilled furniture-maker and the oldest of three brothers. When his father died, he inherited the family business, but he never had his father’s skill with negotiation or woodworking and the business soon began to take losses.
After about two years of failure, Borchek admitted defeat and handed over the business to his younger brother Ramhold. Ramhold was significantly better with his tools and more business-savvy than Borchek and the shop began to flourish once again. Borchek left to find a job his large stature and short temper was more suited to, but keeps in close contact with Ramhold and his youngest brother, who still run the shop, occasionally sending back money if he has any spare.
