There are 19 lands in Obora, Effis is the smallest one. Nevertheless, it is not to be underestimated, and neither are its people. As the birthplace of all Feynds, Effis is hard and unforgiving, only welcoming to those of equal mettle. Its borders extend two nightfalls beyond the Hellsink in either direction, and as far north beyond the Red Cliffs as The Kaba will permit. The true wealth of Effis lies beneath the ground, however, between the cracks in the cliff walls and the fractures in the ground, and it extends to depths unimaginable. Some say, in fact, that prisoners’ cries coming from the dungeons of Zikirnis can be heard echoing in the Vaults of Omziva.

The realm of Effis is governed by two major civilizations, the Hobbs and the Ophidians, who long ago came together to form The [Vile] Dominion. A country that enslaves its neighbors and its own, and sells them to the highest bidder. A nation that trades blood and bone for Dragon Skulls.
