Gnoblins
Basic Information
Anatomy
Gnoblins are small, smaller even then their gnomish ancestry. with the average gnoblin being between 1.20m and 1.30m in hight. Their actual lenght is a bit taller tho, since gnoblins are born with a bent back, and thus are always bend forward.
The anatomics of a Gnoblin are a quite similar to the Gnome , be it that Gnoblins have smaller hands and heads then Gnomes do. The largest diffrence between the two is that Gnoblin females are with exeption to genetalia identical to the males in every way, having led to the social standpoint of gender equality within Gnoblin societies.
Growth Rate & Stages
Gnoblins have, just like Gnomes, 4 major lifephases:
- Gnoblite:Right after birth, the Gnoblin body is transparant and blind for the first 20 days. Gnoblins are called Gnoblites until you can't see the heart anymore trough the skin.
- Gnoblin: The prime lifephase of any Gnoblin, this healty stage lasts for between 10 and 20 years, after which they will slowly lose eyessight again and shrink in bodysize. Most Gnoblins die before reaching this stage tho, and many societies have the tradition of killing too old gnoblins anyway.
- Gnoblin Elder: After between 10 to 20 years, a Gnoblin will lose it's eyesight and be called an Elder from there on. Gnoblin Elders will shrink about 20% of their original size. Also white facial hair will start growing starting from this stage, although sometimes it is transparant.
- Gnoblar: After 40 to 50 years, the blind Elder will suddenly grow in size considerably. In a processs wich is called ''Bloating'' the Gnoblin will in a span of two to three months grow almost 300% of it's old size, and become a lot fatter then the average gnoblin. During this process, the Gnoblin will need lots of water and food, or it will starve and die. He will also get the ability of tremorsense to ''see'' again. Gnoblars, while rare, can in theory live up to 80 years or more.
Ecology and Habitats
Gnoblins life almost anywhere.
From the cold tundra's of Xulde to the deserts of Ashar, Gnoblins are everywhere. As long as there is water and food nearby, they can life there. Normaly, gnoblins settle in groups of 30 to 300 and build villages as close to the food and water supply as possible, but due to other (potentialy hostile) creatures nearby, they sometimes will cramp build their villages on safe places more then economicly practical ones. In the Ashari Desert for instance, gnoblins will often build their village on top of an (sometimess artificial) oasis and not care a lot for strategical positions like hills and walls. But in the wartorn Uruque Territories they can often be found underground, deep in easy to defend caves and ravines, or on top of mountain peaks.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Although most gnoblins dispise even the thought of eating a plant, they are omnivores, and do have the biologic system to live off plants. But most gnoblins will in the course of it's life never eat a plant, rather eating any flesh, may that be fish, birds, mammals, insects or other humanoids. They are even cannibalistic to a certain extend. Considering eating gnoblites normal in times of hunger. Eating other full-grown gnoblins is a lot rarer to see, but not unheard off.
Additional Information
Average Intelligence
With smaller heads then the Gnomes also comes less intelligence. Gnoblins are worldwide infamous for their stupidities and casual screwups. Gnoblins are some of the most clumsy creatures in the known world, being most of the time half capable for whatever their task is, while being certain themselves of their ability to complete it. Gnoblins are also quite the socially inept creatures, always being a little unsure how to handle social interaction. All in all, gnoblins are not the most inteligent humanoids by a longshot, but can handle themselves anyway.

Average Physique
Gnoblin bodies are overall, bend, crooked and most of the time mutated in one way or the other. These mutations can range from an extra finger to having a very brittle spine. These mutations are one of the primary reason gnoblin have this short of a life expectancy.
Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Goblins have the same body tint as gnomes, ranging from a earthly tan to a light greenish grey.
