The Scourge

This is a religious and political organisation, which holds what could be described as 'extremist' views on the worship of Serenrae 
They believe in rebirth and healing through pain and suffering.   
Alligned to the The Bleeding Hearts and the Tears Of Serenrae.
Their clerics and other followers are known to practice flagellation in order to reach spiritual enlightenment.

Scourge Fantatics

These crazed religious zealots have no sense of self worth and with throw themselves headlong into any combat no matter the odds.  Their deep spiritual enlightenment allows them to shrug of normal injuries.  They wield large flails, or multi-headed morning stars, with huge handles, which they whirl around themselves in chaotic motions.  These weapons can often inflict as much damage on allies who do not get out of the way, as they do to enemies.  

They came out of no where, and tore through our lines. They seemed to know no fear and no pain. Like some kind of inhuman creature. And then the knights hit us...

Sacred Guard: 

These warrior priests often command military units as well as giving them spiritual advice.  They wear brass masks, which are said to hide their faces, disfigured by self mutilation.  They are worn with pride.  

Hans Ikford Is a well know inquisitor of The Scourge from The Northolt.

Uniform

There is no set uniform for agents and followers of the scourge. Lay persons tend to dress in black leathers. Religious orders prefer scarlet robes. Some individuals wear their scars with pride whilst others keep them covered up and out of sight.
