Tea and Gifts

General Summary

Having been escorted from the Western Forest by disgruntled elves, the party find themselves at Anna Mirfast's house just outside Yarn.   Over tea and excited chat (mainly between Anna and Pip), Anna offers to show the party The Backshee and asks for their help in learning about some of the more unusual artifacts in the collection. Each member of the party receives a gift (see table below) in exchange for a promise that they will return to tell Anna what it does or what it could be used for in an adventure.   Anna asks Borf too many questions about his past and lets slip that she had someone asking after a halfling that fits his description. To avoid a scene, Joom Jim admits that he is one of the Jim Brothers and, excitedly, Anna makes a further gift of her own making (Comb of Colouring). She reveals that she's been taking levels in artificing. Even Pip is impressed.   The party agree to move on to Marches, but Anna seems upset at the mention of Cool Jazz. She warns that he is a persuasive person and wants not to speak about it any longer.   Mochache, Pip and Joom Jim all cash their cheques from Harridan.
