Riemkel
RiemKel (Reemker) is a small riverside hamlet situated about four leagues west of Bogenhafen.
Riemkel was initially established as a quarantine hamlet and used to isolate those suffering from infectious diseases. However, as time passed and the Shallyan Order began to provide moire humane solutions for dealing with the sick and diseased the hamlet became a favoured base of operations for alchemists and other professions interested in the study and exploitation of the numerous plants which grow on the moors north of the river Bogen.
The settlement sits opposite another small hamlet called L'hamvrung which sits on the opposite bank of the river suggesting that there ought to be some means of crossing the river at this point but there is no obvious ford, bridge or ferry and the means of crossing the river at his point remains a mystery.
The population of Riemkel tends to fluctuate depending on the season and the demand for medicinal plants with many of its occupants having alternative homes in Bogenhafen or on the south bank of the river.
It is also a well-kept secret by its inhabitants who prefer not to advertise their business for fear of attracting too much competition which would over harvest the plants in the area and reduce their market value.
