Sifrid von Böhrn (Barn)
Lord High Admiral of the First Imperial Fleet
Lord High Admiral Böhrn of the First Fleet like his brother Herman the former Baron von Böhrn is a larger than life character always loud, always charming, always full of himself and often drunk. The life and soul of every party worth attending in Altdorf.
He is now in his fifties and has never married and never settled down'Why bother getting anchored to an old trout, when the sea is full of fish.", but he has produced as string of illegitimate children including four that he has formerly adopted and introduced to his neice the Baroness Agetta for her mericful generosity.
When his brother Herman first became the Baron von Böhrn he was quick to offer his younger brother a chioce of careers which he could choose from and the Baron promised to use his influence to secure for him. Sifrid could have chosen anything as the House von Böhrn had substantial power and influence. But Sifrid chose the Imperial Navy and in particular he choose a position with the First Fleet based in Altdorf. Because as he said 'It never went anywhere and never fought anything larger than a river boat.' and that has been where Lord Admiral Sifrid has spent his life.
In addition, to his salary Sifrid receives a reasonable stipend from the Böhrn estates granted to him by his neice the Baroness. Enough to buy himself a decent size manse on the Reiksport District and pay for his entertainment, and as far as most people know he is content to live his life in the city, even so some of his children seem to suggest that he occassionally wanders farther afield.
The twins Herlinde and Tilea for example have a distinctly olive taint to their skin that suggest that he has at least ventured beyond the Imperial borders to sow his seed. Either that or some Tilean lady must have wandered within the city walls and landed un his net nineteen years ago.
