Tilde von Böhrn (Tilder von Barn)
Tilde was the youngest daughter of House von Walfen when Baron Herman persuaded his liege lord to grant him her hand in marriage.
She and Herman made an odd and somewhat mismatched couple as his loud brash nature tended to eclipse the quiet and unassuming demeanor of his wife. But in truth, much of the image that Tilde portrayed was simply an act, and behind the scenes, it was Tilde who exercised the real power in their relationship and one subtle glance from her could easily silence her husband and bring him to heel.
Tilde was a generous and courageous soul and more than a match for her arrogant but lazy husband. But he never complained and worshipped her until the day he died.
While Herman was merciless and revenge-prone, Tilde was merciful and generous.
While Herman was lazy and arrogant, Tilde was courageous and cunning.
Many saw her as stupid and naive but Tilde was blessed by Verena with a natural sense of justice and a nose for the truth that did not require clever words or academic posturing.
