Doll
Dolls are artificial living beings made out mostly out of human body parts that have been sewn together by Lord of the Puppets' threads and resurrected as his minions.
Because Lord of the Puppets likes to surround himself with things he deems "cute", most of them are female, with their bodies between the age of 7 and 25.
Then, comes the time for the first warping. He will stretch, smush, twist and transform them. When the parts are ready, it's time to stitch them all together.
That is when the Lord of the Puppets uses his own strings, connecting Doll to himself, so it can function and live.
If the process is successful and the Doll wakes up, he will warp it more, often shaping her mind in whatever way he pleases.
At this point, to raise the energy level to a normal state, they need to eat. Both substances of animal and plant origin can sustain them. It's been observed that animal tissues, especially those coming from humans are the most effective sources of nutrition for them. However, their Lord is strongly against eating human meat as it is a waste of perfectly good parts for the new Dolls (they can eat the parts that are too rotten to be useful for him anymore, but even that only in case of emergency. Before the Extinction, Dolls didn't have the constant flow of spiritual energy entering their bodies and as such, they had to consume food at the rate normal human would need (3 meals per day).
If the area is rich enough in spiritual energy, they can even survive in the areas that completely lack oxygen, as long as the composition of substances there won't affect their bodies in a negative way (the acid can still melt their body, but they could walk on the bottom of the lake).
The main advantage of creating this type of Dolls is the variety of skills they possess and the easiness of acquiring their body parts after the Extinction (it, however, gets harder and harder to find human parts in a usable state, so Lord has to get more creative).
He began trying to add the parts of spirits to the Dolls. Results were always warped in some ways, the alien part always started to infect the others with the concept of the spirit. One could even compare it to the possession, but going way too fast and too volatile.
The spirit being forced to connect with the rest of the Doll often loses both its identity and it damages the possible identity of the Doll. Because of that the Dolls of this type often have various dangerous powers that can alter the surrounding area and no mental brakes to stop those powers from exploding. Only a few select ones have achieved the mental level of a teenager.
Abstracts lose the ability to feed on human food, surviving completely on the spiritual energy. But just as the spirits, consuming the energy related to the idea or even eating weaker spirits can affect the Abstract changing them further.
Discovering that his enemies are just the remains of the dead people, covered with armor and held together by the mix of a spirit and human soul fascinated him. After every attempt to use a part of the Faceless One in the creation of the Doll proved futile, he changed his goal. He wanted to create the Doll that would be made with as little organic parts as possible.
The results of this were Clockworks, Dolls that even when sapient, were almost completely devoid of human emotions.
Often, their looks can be modified very easily as their hair, eyes, and bodies are artificial. As opposed to other Dolls, Clockworks can't eat. Some of them, especially those intended for combat, are equipped with various types of batteries capable of storing the spiritual energy inside of them, but those created only to look cute don't have them, so any type of action besides most basic ones (mainly walking) puts them at risk of shutting down.
Mannequins were created to resemble the humans as closely as possible to infiltrate them, spy them and lead them towards other, more capable in combat Dolls. As the ones tasked with gathering new bodies, most of the Mannequins fight using the weapons that knock out or incapacitate their enemies.
The way they are created, all of the Dolls of this type share one trait. Whenever a new body part is connected to their body, it will change its color and shape until it looks as if it was always a part of them.
There is one trait all of the Shifted share. Because their bodies are so warped, most of their vital organs can be placed in the places one wouldn't expect them to be. As such, someone trying to hit them can discover fast that their effort is futile. Redacted

Process of creation
To create a Doll, first, enough of the body parts need to be harvested. In the beginning, Lord had to do it himself, but now his army does it for him. When the parts are gathered, Lord will look through them, looking for the ones that will suit his inspiration. Often, at this point, he will also use nonhuman parts. Then, comes the time for the first warping. He will stretch, smush, twist and transform them. Body Functions
Diet
After The Curtain has fallen, Dolls don't really need to eat any material substances to keep their body alive. As long as there is enough spiritual energy in the area and they are connected to their Lord, they can function indefinitely. To move, walk, talk and do other basic actions, they need to eat only once per month. However, if they use up a lot of energy by straining, stressing or damaging their bodies, just those two things will not suffice them and they can be at risk of shutting down.At this point, to raise the energy level to a normal state, they need to eat. Both substances of animal and plant origin can sustain them. It's been observed that animal tissues, especially those coming from humans are the most effective sources of nutrition for them. Breathing
As Dolls gain most of the energy they need to live from the spiritual energy in the surrounding area and their connection to their Lord, they do not need to breathe. They can simulate breathing to mimic humans but in all other situations, most of them don't bother to do so.If the area is rich enough in spiritual energy, they can even survive in the areas that completely lack oxygen, as long as the composition of substances there won't affect their bodies in a negative way (the acid can still melt their body, but they could walk on the bottom of the lake).
Types of Dolls
Standard Dolls
The most basic type of Dolls, those beings are mostly made out of normal human parts. Even if during their creation there are parts used that would belong to another type of Doll, it's usually not enough of them to make a Doll be considered one of said type. The real Dolls of those other types have to be created with a specific function in mind. The main advantage of creating this type of Dolls is the variety of skills they possess and the easiness of acquiring their body parts after the Extinction (it, however, gets harder and harder to find human parts in a usable state, so Lord has to get more creative).
Abstracts
When The Curtain has fallen and the spirits flooded the world, some of them became more material than they could ever be before. And that piqued Lord of Puppets' interest. He began trying to add the parts of spirits to the Dolls. Results were always warped in some ways, the alien part always started to infect the others with the concept of the spirit. One could even compare it to the possession, but going way too fast and too volatile.

Clockworks
After a few encounters with the Faceless Ones, Lord of the Puppets decided and managed to capture one of them and start experimenting on them.Discovering that his enemies are just the remains of the dead people, covered with armor and held together by the mix of a spirit and human soul fascinated him. After every attempt to use a part of the Faceless One in the creation of the Doll proved futile, he changed his goal. He wanted to create the Doll that would be made with as little organic parts as possible.

Mannequins
Lord of the Puppets used this type of Dolls mostly during Extinction but they still are useful even now.Mannequins were created to resemble the humans as closely as possible to infiltrate them, spy them and lead them towards other, more capable in combat Dolls. The Shifted
Sometimes, just putting the body parts together isn't enough for Lord of Puppets. That's when he gets creative, mutating, changing and warping them, he turns his creations into monstrosities. Some of the Shifted retain anatomy similar to that of human while others take on more monstrous or animalistic shapes. There is one trait all of the Shifted share. Because their bodies are so warped, most of their vital organs can be placed in the places one wouldn't expect them to be. As such, someone trying to hit them can discover fast that their effort is futile. Redacted

Sapience
Either depending on the process of their creation, the will of the Lord or the state (and the souls still bound) of the used body parts, the newborn Doll could come out completely independent (but still subservient to their master), have likes/dislikes, memories of previous life and skills acquired during it, or be almost completely brain dead, reacting only to the orders of the Lord and █████ ██ ███ ██████.Hierarchy of Dolls
The privileges and luxuries a Doll can experience depend on a few factors. The most important one would be their looks. If the Doll seems pleasing to the Lord's twisted sense of aesthetics, there is a big chance that she will live in the office area of The Tower of the Lord of the Puppets. She will get her room decorated in any way she wants. Whenever those Dolls are permitted to leave their birdcages, they can order any other ones of their kind in any way they want.
The second most important thing is how useful a Doll is for the Lord. Those who often patrol the grounds, gather new bodies and spy on humans, get a lot of love, especially if they are successful in their tasks.
All of the other Dolls don't have any rights. They are just soldiers waiting for orders. Some of them hope to prove useful one day, but most of their days, they just lie in one place.
There is also █████ ██ ███ ██████ who ██████████.
Subtypes
Here are listed both intentional and not intentional modifications of the Dolls that can happen to Dolls of any type:Defect: Corpse-Eater
Sometimes, no matter the quality of the parts used, the Doll will come out defective. One of the most often occurring defects creates Dolls that are called Corpse-Eaters. Those Dolls feel almost constant hunger that can only be sated by the flesh of another Doll, dead or alive.
Those of Dolls that are sapient will usually stray away from the Corpse-Eaters, subconsciously feeling both disgust and fear towards them. As something born to eat other Dolls, Corpse-Eaters possess various traits that let them partake in that activity.
Most of them have bodies strong enough to kill and tear apart others of their kind with their bare hands and teeth.
Another, both terrifying and fascinating trait of theirs lets them heal their bodies by eating the tissue coming from the same area as where they are wounded. This ability works no matter the condition of the eaten tissue.
Patchwork
At some point, Lord of the Puppets managed to obtain some body parts that belonged to The Created. He discovered pretty fast that it's impossible to create the Doll using those parts. For some reason, the tissues of Created would reject the rest of the body during the resurrection ritual. That didn't stop him from continuing his research. He discovered pretty fast that, with a specific stimulus, he could activate the abilities that the owner of the part had during their life, albeit way weaker than in their original state.
After months of research Lord of the Puppets finally found a workaround to his problem.
Grafting the body part of the Created to the body of already living Doll, as if one would do with a branch of a tree, would let said Doll to use those abilities whenever they used the same stimulus.
