Level 17 Abilities

This Article describes the abilities of the player characters (Player Group) they gain when reaching level 17.   Juri gains:
  • Action Surge: Starting at 2nd level, you can push yourself beyond your normal limits for a moment. On your turn, you can take one additional action. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again. Starting at 17th level, you can use it twice before a rest, but only once on the same turn.
  Nym gains:
  • Metamagic: At 3rd level, you gain the ability to twist your spells to suit your needs. You gain two of the following Metamagic options of your choice. You gain another one at 10th and 17th level. You can use only one Metamagic option on a spell when you cast it, unless otherwise noted.
  Sinaida Ravenrock gains:
  • Mystic Arcanum (9th level): At 17th level, your patron bestows upon you a magical secret called an arcanum. Choose one 9th-level spell from the warlock spell list as this arcanum. You can cast your arcanum spell once without expending a spell slot. You must finish a long rest before you can do so again. You regain all uses of your Mystic Arcanum when you finish a long rest.
  Theren Nailo gains:
  • Master of Nature: At 17th level, you gain the ability to command animals and plant creatures. While creatures are charmed by your Charm Animals and Plants feature, you can take a bonus action on your turn to verbally command what each of those creatures will do on its next turn.
  Verna Tealeaf gains:
  • n/a
