Elf

The elves are well regarded throughout Winderia. They are diplomats, merchants, cultural emissaries, and political leaders in all of the city-states.
The natural magical affinity of the High Elves has placed many of them into powerful positions, including two members of the Eight. They tend to congregate more in the north, but you can find plenty of high elf families everywhere.
The Wood Elves of Winderia are primarily found in the High Forest. Many wood elves hold influential positions in Alterus, and they also serve as soldiers and scouts in the defense of the wood. While they lack the innate magical talent of their racial cousins, they are the ghosts of the High Forest and invaluable to Winderia.
Drow are often agents of unsavory powers, actively seeking to undermine the peace and prosperity of the realm. However, this is not universally true, and numerous drow have performed great deeds on behalf of Winderia.
