Weekly Prayer To The First Star
The Weekly Prayer To The First Star is exactly as it's titled. Done by a Holy Diver every week during a gathering of Starists, the Weekly Prayer To The First Star asks for the blessing of The First Star and of the members of The Da'at to help the Starists and all those around them in making it through the day.
Execution
As written in the Star Mythology book, taken from an inscription about prayers that were often made by the Stars to The Da'at:
TO THE HOLY STAR THAT WATCHES OVER US ALL
TO THE HOLY GOD THAT WE ONCE FOLLOWED UNDER
WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR SACRIFICE
WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOUR MEMORYWE WAIT FOR THE DAY WE CAN JOIN YOU
WE WAIT FOR THE DAY US MERE FOLLOWERS
CAN JOIN YOU AND THE DA'AT
AND FEEL TRULY BLESSED.WE WILL CREATE AND THRIVE AS YOU'VE WANTED.
WE WILL LIVE HAPPILY AS YOU DESIRED.
WE WILL BRING THE REALMS TOGETHER THROUGH OUR ACTIONS.
WE WILL BRING EACH OTHER HOPE.
At the end of the prayer, after a brief bow towards the Holy Diver that had recited the prayer, everyone is able to begin with the activities or events that are going on at the time. It is short and sweet, usually, and doesn't really take away much time from the day, only asking for a blessing from The Stars. Some have said that they've felt a warmth overcome them as a result of this prayer, with a few even claiming that the same night the prayer is done, they've had good dreams.
Aw, that's such a nice prayer. I like the fact people believe it gives them good dreams after. :)
