Crosea

Crosea is a town of average size found within the Greater Frond region, under the control of Kingdom Brillis, and in turn, the Empire of Roscrea. It is the crown jewel of the Jeweled Peninsula, which splits Lake Frond into its tributary, River Frond. It has a good economy due to the traders coming down River Frond and stay at the town for the night, as well as traders from Mordenhust. Nobles from Kingdoms Brillis and Dvery use the town as a middle ground between the two, and as such the town has a forum district in which the nobles barter and discuss diplomacy. The town has had in the past, had to deal with poachers that stay on the outskirts of the Middle Weald.

History

During the siege of Fire, the town was highly sought after by the Roscrean Empire that wanted control over the River Frond. The Roscreans tried to take over the town, but a group of powerful wizards, loyal to Kingdom Brillis, managed to summon wildlife like Centaurs to come and destroy the invading Roscreans. These wizards would become known as the Circle of Crosea, and upon the towns eventual capture, their lives would be spared and used as envoys to Kalasier to try and make diplomic relations with the Centauri Druids in Cerna.
