Greater Frond
Greater Frond is a region in Southeast Roscrea. It is sometime separated into two different regions, Frond in the west and Dounichor in the east. The region is defined by Lake Frond and the Kenbarna Mountains in the east. The River Kingdoms, Brillis and Dvery, own the majority of the land in the region and rule from either side of the lake.
Geography
History
During the Southern Sieges, Kingdom Faful, in the southeast of the region, would prove the most difficult of the three kingdoms to to conquer due to its geographical advantages of the Ordxer Forest and high ground. Because of this, Emperor Galcht allowed his court wizard, Amin Frostfinnger, a controversial figure for his unethical experimentation with the Borderling Realm, to travel to Kingdom Faful and capture the city, after the wizard said he would be able to end the Siege of Fire and have Kingdom Faful under Roscrea's control. Amin was able to infiltrate the captail city of Kingdom Faful, Broutmist, and managed to open a portal within the city into the Borderling Realm, where thousands of creatures from the parallel realm entered the city and overwhelemed the city guard. The King of Kingdom Faful, King Corden, sued for peace with Roscrea as long as Amin closed the portal. The agreement was signed and the portal was closed, and Kingdom Faful joined the Roscrean Empire, though Amin was still granted permission to experiment in the region Greater Frond. in 5505 2E, the old wizard Amin and the Kingdom's people all dissapeared leaving behind no trace of where they went. Entire sections of Broutmist along with several villages dissapeared as well, leaving behind crumbling ruins, which would never be populated again. The Faful subregion then became an unpopulated frontier between the Elves, Orks, and Humans, while still being in the Greater Frond region.Important Settlements
