Elthor was born 7969 3E, and was born in the bloodline of the legendary human hero of old, Irithron. He was born into a noble family in the city of ____. The very second he was born, a mysterious bard came into the court of the king of the kingdom, and demanded that he resign and give the throne to the newly born child. When the king asked why he would do such a thing, the bard stated that the stars told her that it was the only way for all of Wold to be saved from destruction. The king then tried to have the bard executed in front of him, but she magically disappeared, leaving nothing behind but an engraving in the floor where she stood, which read; "The one whom is engraved with a mark of thorn." As a precautionary, the king ordered any person that had a mark on their head that resembled a thorn to be executed at once, and for all roses to be burned. Elthor's family attended the great rose burning held just from reach of the city walls. Little Elthor was dropped by accident by his mother, and a rose that was on the ground pricked the side of his head. Fearing the worst from the new decree, the family of Elthor reluctantly gave him to their cousins who owned farmland in NorthEastern Roscrea, so he would not be executed for his new mark of thorn on his head.
