Gnomes

Gnomes are small creatures that inhabit the island known as 'Gnome Island". They are believed to be a cross species from Fairies and Dwarves. They mainly keep to themselves on their island, having ideologies similar to that of isolationism, although they have an adventurous spirit at heart, and have sometimes been seen to leave their islands to go on expeditions across the sea to other lands. One such famous expedition what that of Brightington, which led an expedition to the archipelago known as Anpistsu. The gnomes also have a special type of magic that has no requirement of bloodlines. The magic is called ziji, which specializes in the growth of fauna.
Gnomes are greatly known for their carnivals and circuses they love to preform for coin. Often, they will parade not only around their own island, but on Archtun and Airgona as well. They use their powerful magic as well as native wildlife to put on spectacular shows.

Civilization and Culture

History

Believing to be from intermingling from Fairies and Dwarves, Gnomes are supposed to come from M'n'a, along with the other magical species. They would travel the land, as far as Malatata, and set up small colonies of gnomes across Archtun. However, when the High Elves called for the Entartist, and recalled all magical species to M'n'a, the gnomes chose to ignore and disobey the elves. The gnomes would migrate across the continent, until they traveled across The Great Sea, to Airgona. From Airgona, they would not find a suitable home until they would reach an island off the coast of Airgona, which they would call their new home, "Gnome Island." The vast majority of the gnome population would migrate there, and be left to their own devices.
