High Elves

High Elves are a race of elf that is often regarded as being the first created as all of the other elven species, as well as being kissed by Ilal-Bilendiuer himself. The High Elves live in the Domain of Daliyar, in their serene vistas upon rolling green hills in the clouds away from the rabble of the rest of the continent. There, they bathe in crystal clear waters and eat the freshest of fruit. Instead of living in multiple cities like other species of Wold, the high elves only have four large cities, consisting of their capital, Iedaleivadi, and the three Holy Cities, Loraquinal, Beresynn, and Darunia-fe-efh. The rest of the high elves live on their own estates in the high mountains or deep in their jungle.

History

The high elves first originated in Entailtildor. They claim they were first created by the tear of Ilal-Bilendiuer when he was witnessing the majesty of his creation. The high elves soon took a dominant position among the other elves in Entailtildor. This led to a dispute amongst the Vacreian elves, and a brief schism was brought to Entalitildor, the first conflict on the island known as the Petty Schism. The two elves would fight for months before ending in a draw, and the Vacreian elves volunteered to leave the continent. The high elves had their power situated strongly among the hierarchy of elves from that day forward. in 1E 3000, the Spirit of Desire would wreak havoc in Entailtildor and break the celestial wards put in place in Entailitldor, and shortly after Uyat would begin his invasion into the continent. The elven resistance was led by the high elves and would be able to hold back the hordes of Uyat's invasion, if just barely. With Entailtilodor now in a state of decay, the elves began to leave the continent in droves, with Ilal'Bilenduier commanding the high elves to lead the elves west, where their new home lies.    The high elves made landfall on the coast of present-day ever mist in 4123 1E. The high elves instantly laid claim to the northern part of Evermist east of the Kenbarna Mountains, but did not inhabit the very north of Evermist, due to its lack of familiarity with the rest of the region. They called this uninhabited section to the north, the Wilderness of Barashaubai. Th high elves also helped the middle elves clear out the Enan'idra, the natives to the region created by Appresgal, who were already in decline due to their god failing to protect the memories of the other gods from Kenrhack. The Enan'idra were soon forced out of Evermist within fifty years of the landfall of the elves and were forced to enter into servitude with the cyclones below ground.    The high elves quickly began working on their capital city,
