Elemental
The result of a soul flying into and mixing with the roiling chaos and elemental energy in the Elemental Chaos. These powerful creatures can sometimes scare the Gods, their true creation a thing of mystery. Upon inspection of one's soul and body, Sul once said "That this is a soul that was once of my design disturbs me, for I know not how to save it." These creatures still have a soul, but when they die it is impossible for them to enter Purgatory or the 16 Afterlives. Where they go and what happens to their souls is thought to be impossible to know using Divine Force, although it is thought to be within the reach of Chaos Magic. Despite a natural resistance to and affinity for Chaos Magic, elementals steer clear from it, even though the most powerful among them use it. They can be classified into many different subspecies, with discernible and striking differences in power, form, size, and intelligence, although how these distinctions form are largely unknown.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Most live in the Elemental Chaos, but some have made homes in the World of Mortals in extreme circumstances like deserts, frozen areas, volcanoes, in mountains and large subterranean cities, the bottoms of oceans, or nesting in the middle of the air or on the highest mountaintops. For some reason, none have made homes in the Shadowfell or Feywild, despite them both seeming suitable.
