Gale Kirk

From the western outskirts of the infamous Foulwind Drop sits the coastal city of Gale Kirk, named after the gale force winds stirred up from the Maelstrom not seventy miles off the coast. This is a port for many ships from the southern country of Avalon, where they offload their goods to be shipped over the land of Vedania. Mildly wealthy, the villagers here enjoy exotic goods from the south that most of cities do not have, such as exotic spices and rich coffees. Gale Kirk is always soaked to the bone, the ocean mists spray over the buildings and streets, and although it may not have rained it always feels like it has. Pirates are also known to port here for brief periods, but stick to themselves and their favorite bar, The Loose Lip. The city is notoriously haunted, hundreds of souls from the suicidal peasantry are just as common as seagulls that soar overhead.
