Akatar. The wealth of the east, jewel of the desert and exotic land of mystery. Once the home to the great empire of the Broken Lords. It was overtaken after the mutually assured destruction by their own hands by their slaves and pets, the Catfolk. Since then, Akatar has been filled with trade from around the world, every nation of Mythris desires the spices and odd crafts created by the Cats. They remain unerringly neutral in world conflicts, but always invests mountains of gold and gems in the most apparent winner.
