The Headless Horseman (Hadrian Orlandis)
In 1615, Count Davion Vaughn and a small army of mercenaries stormed the palace of the late count Hadrian Orlandis III in Port Deepwater, and in a violent military coo, killed him and Hadrian's wife, and four daughters, securing his place as the count by force. The spirit of Hadrian never was able to rest, and in early 1632 he rose from his resting place to terrorize the port's countryside. It was then the Horseman was fought by Brom, Tobias, Rodney, Roo, Kruz and Cale. They had learned of the betrayal of Davion, who gave them the job of killing the Horseman, instead of defeating Hadrian, they tricked the Count into coming into the countryside, where Hadrian was waiting. Hadrian and Count Vaughn battled for a short time before the Horseman claimed Davion’s head for his own and returned to rest in peace. Davion’s nephew, Alistar, then took the throne of Port Deepwater, unknown to him that the group played a part in his uncles death.
