The Inquisition takes action.

Plague runs rampant through the cities and countryside. The King and counts do nearly nothing as they sit in their ivory towers. The Inquisition acts in a bold move. The entire Inquisition assaults the king’s palace in Drachenthorne, slaughtering anyone in their way. Sid Kaiber runs his rapier through the young king’s throat. The Inquisition flees with almost no trace, taking the crown with them. The Counts react, find and destroy the Inquisitions bases, three are left in ruins, one remained secret. The crown was lost in the attacks.
