General Gerald Whitaker
Gerald is a major General posted on the Whitecliffe - Atlas DMZ and is been on this post for much of his career both before and after he became a general. Gerald is a sceptical man who believes that war between Atlas and Whitecliffe is inevitable. He is a top-level general and is one of the major proponents in the Defense Department pushing the covert Cold War against Atlas. He's fought many battles and has taken losses before.
He is known to have a very sour relationship and attitude with General Ironwood who he holds as personally responsible for everything going wrong in Atlas Right now. He also has stated in public many times, his desire to imprison Jacque Schnee for Treason against Atlassian Democracy. Most know him as a hardliner for that reason and that's why he was posted where he was, in order to ensure his rough nature doesn't rile up any delicate situations Whitecliffe is involved in abroad.
After the Fall of Beacon, A lot of Gerald's Job came about strategic manoeuvring against Atlas' General Austina in the Whitecliffe Wastes and doing dedicated campaigns against the Grimm, trying to kill as many of them as possible. A lot of his work is still defensive though, maintaining the many forts between Whitecliffe and Atlas.
