Unlike in the Main Universe, Jacque Schnee in Shattered Dawn is not just a serial Abuser, souless Corporate Executive and exploiter of labour, but now a full-blown megalomaniacal madman who will do anything and everything to gain complete and total control over everyone and everything. Caring only about his supreme legacy and the power it represents. Jacque at a younger age was a more respectable man who convinced Nicholas Schnee to let him marry into the family and become a Co-heir to Willow.
After being handed to the keys to the Kingdom, Jacque Snatched them with an Irongrip and with his iron fist, pounded in the face of all competitors and opponents. Amassing so much power as to get General Ironwood appointed as the Secretary of Defence. He has taken Atlas' dominant position and rapidly expanded the dominion of the Kingdom through his Company, engaging in late-stage capitalist tactics to buy out and hollow out anything, not on his side.
Lining up his corporate board with a long array of fat, greedy or craven board members who'll do anything and everything he orders them too. Creating many technologies such as advances in robotics, gene therapy and weapons development, turning him into the single richest and most powerful man in Remnant, beating even Professor Ozpin. With his money, he has flipped the entire Kingdom of Atlas away from the path of openness and progression and devolved it into further Racism, prejudice and authoritarianism.
Plunging the Kingdom of Atlas into a multi-partied Civil Cold War, with the key opponent being the hardline Democratic Whitecliffe whom he sees as particularly disgusting and rowdy. This inherent Malice, greed and selfishness is expressed in his treatment of his family, abusing multiple members, most often Willow Schnee and holding them all at hostage in subtle and vile ways either through a commitment to their family or other forms of emotional manipulation and abuse.
Personality & Idealogy
Unlike many Villans, Jacque has never been victimised by anyone but rather by the very biology of his brain, born with a complete inability to empathise with others, he displays many extreme and violent psychopathic tendencies with duel issues of megalomania and Solipsism. While he is still Craven in that he doesn't want to die, his extreme fear only makes him more desperate and violent to everyone around him. Having no qualms dealing with Criminal Business he'll use anything to stay top dog, having ordered the deaths of countless people. The leading reason for his descent into super-villainy was a lack of early support due to his status as a poor boy in Atlas. Fighting and struggling for every little thing he has, which is what led to Nicholas mistaking him as an earnest Goodman. Jacque isn't noble, he could care less what you've gone through, all he cares about is your utility to the family which is code for your utility to him and him alone. When his Daughter Winter left because she wanted to have her own life, he did everything he could to punish her, even hiring a Hitman to kill her but luckily Winter is too good for some corporate Hitman.Ideology
Jacque is an open Human Supremacist and a Corporate Fascist who believes that Business and State should be moulded into one. He believes that the Empire of Mantle was improperly led and that only through him can Atlas' true potential be reached as the undeniable superpower and finally top the Fallen Kingdom of Astora. He is not motivated by big-picture goals for Humanity but rather a future where he is the True King of Atlas and leads Humanity into space on a Great Crusade to show the universe that nothing, not even the Grimm will contain his ambition. Everything about his ideology surrounds the concept of him being the supreme leader, his deep need to be in control is his main motivator for supporting such nightmarish and dystopian policies and Government functions. He hates Democracy and only sees it as a tool to be used and then cast aside to gain him power, using paranoia, hatred and delusion he tricks millions into cheering his name and thundering as he chips away at Liberty and Equality piece by piece. One may think he is in some league with Salem but he is actually not, soon after becoming aware of her network, he felt threatened and immediately attacks her control same as he attacks Ozpin's. Making himself a third Party in the great hidden war on Remnant, seeing them as idiots who waste Humanity's potential on personal fruitless goals when the dominance of all space is at hand. One man in particular he despises and slams in public is Alonso Snowfall whom he sees as a Race Traitor and degenerate who deserves to be shot for sedition, he says sedition against Atlas but really he hates that Alonso and the Republic of WHitecliffe stubbornly refuse to obey. Leading to Jacque forcing Atlas Policy to war and bullying Whitecliffe at every opportunity.Reputation and Crimes
Despite Spiraling Atlas in a Cold War against itself with the Whitecliffe situation, despite the Ruthless exploitation of Mistral and Vacuo, forcing the respective Kingdoms into a death spiral out of personal gain and making several political attacks against Vale's developing Democratic institutions. His excessively unethical and thinly veiled use of slaves. Jacque is one of the most popular men in politics. Having an electric pull with Enriched elites and Deluded lower class alike, promising a bright future to all Humans on Remnant while making scarce few mentions of Faunus, preferring they stay in chains. People see him as a great Inventor and Icon of Atlassian Greatness, media apparatus fawn over him and his celebrity status is contagious, using Weiss Schnee Strategically to boost his own image, until she too eventually rebelled against him. Despite his intoxicating reputation, those like Ozpin and Ironwood never fell for his ruse and always fought against him, with Ironwood commitign against him after the Fall of Beacon for the sake of Atlas.
