The Schnee Dust Company is the leading Corporate Conglomerate of the World since 37 AGW when it opened its First Gene Clinics and the first construction of a Giga Extractor in 38 AGW. Jacque Schnee inherited the company some years before in 30 AGW after Nicholas Schnee lost his battle with Cancer and married Willow Schnee and is credited with the vast expansion but also under his watch the company has become blood-stained by the blood of those who opposed it and one of the suspected causes of the Faunus Uprising in the Faunus Liberation War. Their Propaganda and ideology has always been about progressing Humanity no matter the cost, ruthlessly extorting other nation states and their peoples, continuing the practice of slavery under a another name under bogus contracts that all but strip poor faunus of all rights in return for keeping their families fed.
They're also the cause of the unrestricted Technological advance in Atlas, Private Money and Employees are spread out across all of the major projects. On-top of controlling much of the World's Power Generation they also have monopoly on Rail Companies, Shipping Companies, Airliners and more, cementing their intoxicating presence everywhere. By 37 AGW they also began predatorily selling other products such as Health Products and seizing control over the medical market, upcharging and setting up predatory Medical Systems across many of the Nations that continue to raise corporate profits at the cost of general well-being of citizens across everywhere.
Their money strangles almost every election across the world, deciding who runs what and where. Most national governments are filled with SDC Puppets who spread Human Supremacist Ideologies across the world, erode Civil and human Liberties and strengthen the grip the company has over society. Despite this clearly evil slant the company has taken, the SDC are not influenced by Salem but rather then being influenced by Ozpin, they are a rogue third Party who is interested only in their own success andp political goals, anyone who gets in their way and in particularly the way of Jacque Schnee is going to die,
Afterall, how can you fight a company that owns everything you consume, Use and fight with?
Jacque Schnee can't be blamed for everything, while he is the Public Face and Leadership figure, there is several level of Corporate management that enacts everyday structural violence and pushes the company further and further into controlling every factor of life. These boards of Shadowy and often obscured figures are utterly unaccountable and many never need to maintain a public profile. Allowing these figures to act in complete anonymity and make decisions normal Corporate Figures probably would not on their own.
Each Kingdom has a board of Directors which manage the local Company projects and are appointed to keep the Company strong, they are not accountable to employees even slightly as most branches get away with having zero Unions and bust any emerging ones, even Unions that have nothing to do with the SDC. Each branch is ran by a High Executive which is personally selected by Jacque Schnee to act as his ambassador and lieutenant. That Executive then makes all of the decisions to fill in chairs.
Unlike many Real-world Transnational Mega Companies, the SDC do not often have to serve the rules or interests of the Nation they're in and this is because many Politicians are in someway connected to the company and often are secured comfortable positions in retirement.
It should come to no surprise that the company maintains a 7-6 Shift for many employees. most who are unfortunate enough to work for the company often lead fairly exhausting lives and require SDC health products in order to keep functioning which they often have to pay discounted prices for. The Average worker wakes up at 6 AM, gets ready for work and finishes their commute at around 7 AM - 8 AM and then finishes their average shift at 6 PM. For Night workers their shift starts at 6 PM and ends at 7 AM - 8 AM. Every position is ruthlessly filled at all times.
Most workers are often too tired after a shift to truly enjoy their lives. Luckily the Company maintains a policy in most places that makes Saturday and Sunday Half-Days where well performing employees can skip a shift on that day to recuperate and the ones who fall behind are stuck working a full shit with even less worker Manpower than they do on normal days. These sorts of policies are lacking within Vale and Mistral however and this is because of things like Crown Law or Crime or some other circumstance which limits the control the company could have but there is always pressure to change this.
Ontop of being one of the largest Companies in Remnant history, they also maintain a sizable Military force of their own complete with their own Airship Fleet, Security Forces, Robotic Army and their own Mechs. The SDC Private Military is present throughout the corporation and guards every single site in the world. Their forces are the tyrannical arm of the Corporation and ensure that the White Fang and any other dissident faction would have a very tough time opposing them.
Many consider the SDC Security Forces as a Private expansion of the Atlas Military, one that Ironwood has very little control over but they do exert and expand Atlassian Influence. Technically a Weapons Development and Research firm

Most Corporate branches exercise incredible pressure on Country Governments to keep taxation low, subsidies high and Debt Forgiveness to a maximum, ensuring that even the least successful projects do not have any sort of way of removing the Company from power. This is also the force that keeps Ozpin and Salem on their toes, often the three factions duking it out on the battlefield of soft power, in legal cases and in a literal case. That said, the SDC is the main dominant force in the world in this regard, they just simply cannot be contested like this, their Money and Influence is just too wide spread, too contagious.Policies
The SDC enacts Policies with little regard for the well-being of their employees, they have the ability to make their factories, mines and stores risk-free near utopian experiences but don't because they don't want to lose even one Lien in profits. Their insistence upon Slave Labour, regardless of whatever pressure gets pushed onto them is also considered quite strange as Slavery is one of the least profitable and sustainable forms of Labourers in existence yet for the sake of Control and Human supremacy they maintain it. It shouldn't come as a surprise but even the Human employees are not spared of this Corporatist entity run amok. The Average employee enjoys considerable benefits, such as permanent Housing, Cheap Healthcare and cheaper schooling for their kids is also entirely owned by the Company, should they rebel or hurt profits they could have even their credit cards canceled which could all but kill a person if they can't find other means to survive. This ensures that those employed by the SDC maintain peak loyalty to the company. In terms of Office Policies, the Company is quite gender balanced in their hiring but not so much in promotions, favouring Men who tend to be a more loyal demographic with the women who do exist in positions of power being fanatic enforcers and managers trying to keep their positions and therefore the health of their family. This Paternal Authority the company maintains means that there is a gender imbalance in uniforms, workloads and expectations. When a crime occurs within the Office, Human Resources will handle the affair and resolve the situation in a way that favours the company rather then the victims. It should be known then many Judical forces in many nations are highly compromised so it is useless trying to sue them 9/10 with most victimised employees just putting the issue aside for the sake of their families.Sleep, Eat, Work, Sleep
