Verity Senarim
Revered Sister Worthy Verity Senarim
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Verity was raised by her father, Teo Senarim, and her mother, a Shadim minstrel, until they died in a freak accident when she was just barely five. At that time, since she had no other known living family, Verity was taken in as a Nakhtim foundling and raising in the temple.
When it became clear that Verity would not be taking vows to Nakhta, or most likely any traditional vows to any other deity, one of the Third Flight Nakhtim recommended her to his old friend, the Librarian aboard the The Discovery, who was in fact a Meretim in the Order of Librarians. Shortly before her 20th birthday, Verity left the temple to take up permanent residence on board the Discovery, where she would work as crew and apprentice Librarian, eventually taking her own vows as Meretim to the Order of Librarians and succeeding her mentor as ship's Librarian.

Education
Verity has the traditional education of any youngling raised in The Senary, but her education after her 20th birthday was unusual; rather than continuing her education in any of the many Meretim temples, she was personally educated and trained by her mentor aboard the Discovery; she did take full vows and is technically Revered Sister Worthy Verity, but she almost never lays claim to that title.
Employment
Verity is a cleric of the Order of Librarians, a Meretim order, and is the ship's Librarian aboard the Discovery, responsible for the curation and protection of the collection on board.

Social
Contacts & Relations
Verity has close personal ties to the other crew members aboard the Discovery, and a few close friends amongst the Meretim and from her childhood as a Nakhtim Foundling.
Family Ties
Verity is a many-times removed member of the The Talat Family, and due to excellent Temple records, the lineage is both traceable and provable. Her appearance doesn't help - she has the distinctive white hair and purple eyes that are reoccuring in the Eschien royal family. She has never bothered to try to make contact with her estranged relatives herself, but her appearance causes trepidation in many Eschien visitors to the Discovery.
