Isle of Thorn'Adan

This Isle is large enough to house the city of Thorn'Adan and the Wizard Academy of Thorn'Adan. The Academy of Thorn'Adan is built into the mountain located on the Island. This was done to make it look like the Academy is floating over the city and the island itself.

Geography

The island is surrounded by Loch Ren.

Ecosystem

The island is home to many different critters that have traveled the loch with those wanting to attend the Academy of Thorn'Adan.

Localized Phenomena

When the fog rolls in from the Loch Ren in the morning the Island is one of the only places the fog doesn't cover. This is partially due to the magical barriers placed on the island to protect the Academy of Thorn'Adan.

History

First Arcane Summitled to many new recurring traditions for Arcane users during that time. It wasn't until the 6th Arcane Summit when the Island started to have a more established settlement of Thorn'Adan. The island and city and even the Academy of Thorn'Adan was named after the first Grand Master/Mistress Wizard of Evocation Raphael De'la Thorn'Adan.

Tourism

People come to the island to see the magical fog off of Loch Ren and to see the Academy of Thorn'Adan or at least when it was open. Tourism has slowed in the current time due to the Academy closing.
