Evocation Well
Effects In The Area
Noone really knows the extent to the wells effects on the area. The magic from Ren's Turtle Dragon Lair masks the appearence of any effect that wone would assume would be from the Well. The Achademy of Thorn'Adan also has history of masking Loch Ren with magical spells making research of Loch Ren difficult.Effects On Items
No specific research has occurred on what would happen if an item is dropped into the well.Purpose / Function
This well's design is to help control the chaotic energies of Evocation magic. A special well casing was designed by Iken "Cobalt Master" Rhineforrel to house all the Evocation Well essence from spilling and increase the damaging effects of wild magic. Controlling this well also ended up controlling the undersea volcano from causing minor eruptions on the rims of Loch Ren.
Alterations
In the year 1225 Iken "Cobalt Master" Rhineforrel with the help of the Grand Master Wizard Council put a protective well made of Cobalt and white marble to make a magical encasement. It was seen at the time of construction of the well structure that the other Wells of Eternity flowed into the Evocation Well. So, special channels where constructed to assist with the flow of magic from other Wells of Eternity to slowly drip and form the Evocation Well in a more uniformal pattern. When doing this it stabilized all magic so people can control other forms of magic allowed by the Goddess Mystra. These magics haven't been learned the only one that has started to research these new forms of magic was non other then Iken "Cobalt Master" Rhineforrel
