Temple of Taleisin

The Temple of Taliesin is the official religious organization dedicated to the Taleisin, Bastard of the Unseason within the Weald. In addition to a theological focus on the Taliesin the temple deals with the things-out-of-season that are the god’s mandate – orphanages and disaster relief are among the temles’s main concerns, the theological needs of the criminal underworld, and insurrection. The Temple is a refuge for sexual, gender, or other nonconformists. The temple also regulates the arcane arts, providing training, mentoring, and monitoring for magesmiths, runewitches, sorcerers, and wizards. Crucially, they also seeks out demons that have gotten into the world of matter to return them to either return them to the Hells of Chaos or bring them under the service of a temple-approved mage. The rise of technomancy - modern experiments into combining traditional arcane techniques and applying them to engineering projects or combining several sources of magical power with technological engines - is not currently under the control of the Temple of Taliesin, although much debate on the subject is currently ongoing.
