Flint is a female fire genasi bard who wandered throughout the eastern coast of the Westerlunds particularly from Gyledaria and ultimately into Kaldemar where she settled into playing and performing in bars. She befriended a barkeep there by the name of Rocky, an earth Genasi who acted like a father to her. He hooked her up with a gig over seas that pays a ludicris amount of gold to venture into an old volcano. Seems like easy work, no?
