Alpha-One/Delta-Four-Nano!
It was all the brain kept screaming. A looped bit of mental data that never processed. The Bioroid woke screaming that Designation, and Alpha-One/Delta-Four-Nano became its name.
Thomas Haas' division of Haas-Bioroid wanted another unique model, as a test. They got it. They built it, frankensteining together pieces of other models to create their prototype before they even had approval. Thomas Haas was never one to hold back.
Now HB wants him scrapped. They will send strike teams at the merest whisper of his existence... They disabled and "destroyed" him once already, when the investigation was completed. That was months ago. Somehow he switched back "on" mid transport and broke free from the Waste Transport truck, while it was being hijacked and began to wander the streets of the lower city.

Personal history
Later known as Aidan, the Bioroid woke up screaming. That's unusual if you hadn't guessed. "Alpha-One/Delta-Four-Nano!" came out in a digitally neutral voice, yet somehow conveying extreme duress and pain. A lie was issued out - the bioroid was built using a coding mash-up. A1/D4-N is just an erroneous process the digital brain was trying to process. Thomas Haas knew the truth, but handled the lie with aplomb. The truth was that it was the last coherent thought of a man that died in terrible pain. As is the custom, the bioroid was named what they wanted to be named, and the tech that Mr. Haas had working on this decided that that was it and translated it through some net-language called Leet to A-I-D-A-N.
Aidan woke with memories, not his own but someone else's, and read the room. He saw the techs, nervous at his outburst, saw the mumbling whispers of a few men in suits, saw one man standing proudly. Aidan performed his self diagnostic and adjusted his systems and explained that programmed Client 01, while pointing towards the smiling suited man, had four armed defenders near him. The presence of their firearms on his peripheral vision had alerted his protocols to initiate defensive combat against them. Haas was impressed. He bought it. But then, he liked the name Aidan. He never knew Aidan had lied.
Gender Identity
Aidan is a self-gendered male. Mostly because he inherited his rather dated ideals of gender and sexuality from the person whose brain was copied to his system. Aidan's delineation between the deceased scan-donor and himself blurs sometimes, usually in those first moments after powering on, when the visions haven't fully faded.
Aidan is a masculine form Bioroid, with an ingrained appreciation of the human female form, and despite not having hormones, behaves in a hormonal way sometimes. He blames the direct brain-scan's synaptic links that the original formed from following these hormonal discharges. He is in the process of building himself a "better body" that is more appealing from the parts of broken bioroids in the junkyard. He has not had much interaction with Humanity yet - just the mechanic.
Sexuality
Aidan shouldn't have a sex drive. That he does disturbs him greatly. No amount of reformatting has fixed the issue either.
Education
Aidan is a Bioroid. An unusually unique one, built off the books as Thomas Haas' pet project. Knowledge is downloaded directly from the Network. Education is instant, but application of it takes time. Supposedly, this one's an analytical bioroid similar to Alix Models in their calculational expertise and speed, but with the behavioral prediction software programmed into a Jeeves model. An insightful Bioroid with programming similar to Floyd, who was supposed to be one-of-a-kind. What was that test? To build a bodyguard capable of surviving almost anything, and capable of analyzing humans and deploying non-lethal threat elimination tactics. It worked.
The braintapes used to give Aidan his skills and programming are also special among the Bioroid division...in that they weren't Haas-Bioroid property, and that they weren't scrubbed tapes compiled from multiple donors. The tapes were a scan of a single human, a complete scan, and the Bioroid that was produced from these tapes was different, more human than expected.
Employment
For half a year after his creation and first moment of sentient awareness, he was disguised as a cyborg former soldier and employed as Thomas Haas' bodyguard. When Haas was finally ready to reveal his new model of bioroid bodyguard, the approval for the project was denied. After a particularly nasty incident, which Aidan the Cyborg should not have survived, an investigation began.
The evidence mounted that he wasn't what he claimed. Eventually the truth came out. His opening yell had been recorded, records of which braintape was actually used were uncovered. He became a reminder Thomas Haas' recklessness. Then someone discovered that he had lied then, and suspected that he knew more than he should. That phrase. That was an HB code that had been buried and evidence to what it had been had already been destroyed. Every piece but one. Every piece but Aidan. He became a liability for HB.
Failures & Embarrassments
A1-D4/N-01 is not a name. It's a shut-down code for a special kind of Bioroid.
Mental Trauma
The truth is that Aidan is more human because his braintapes were unique. He has "memories" that only surface as he shuts down, in those nanoseconds as his system shuts down and his body is paralyzed he envisions scenes of a terrible and bloody war on a world of red dust and rock. A1-D4/N was tested for residual memories and lied, sensing that his existence would be ended if he ever showed he knew what was unleashed in that war, what the visions showed him dying to.
