Archtrees

The Archtrees of Wyrmwuld are an incredible natural phenomenon, being three trees which have grown to the size of mountains. They are believed to tap directly into leylines - streams of powerful magic, imperceptible to humans - and over the course of eons have grown to unbelievable size. They are also known for their pollen, which gives a subtle euphoria to all creatures which come into contact with it.

The Archtrees are the most ancient beings in all the realms - they are multidimensional, existing in all planes at once.

There is a group known as the Tree Pilgrims, whose members travel the world to see the trees in person and pay homage.

The first of the three is Ysgogoch, Archtree - it is surrounded by The Elven City of Amaryll.

The second is Yldrion, Archtree, which exists within The Neverending Mire, the hostility of which necessitates a guide for any Tree Pilgrims - and even such, not all make it out alive.

The third is Yormba, Archtree, located in Welkinmeet. This is the largest of the three, which most believe to be due to the incredible concentration of magic in the island.
