His motivation: he constantly tries to be good. Even though he tend to try and intimidate people and doesn't back down in escalated situations
He very much sides with beggars and those without homes

His greatest fear I think would be a condemned afterlife. He believes that because he is a fallen Aasimar that he has been doomed from birth. He wants to try and redeem himself. Perhaps gain his wing (your choice on if that's possible or not)

In his youth, he was a fiend. He hated what he was and therefore hated everything he though was better than him. When he was younger, he would fight and assault people over anything that made him angry (which was everything) one day he butted heads with the wrong person. Took a blade to the throat. Which ultimately killed him. While in the dark void after death, a voice came to him and offered him a new life. All he had to do was surrender to the voice. He took this as a god or angel offering him a chance at salvation. So he agreed. He later learned this was not. And he now boarders the line of death. He hates what he is. But he hopes that by doing good, he can save his soul and it would fix it all. By accepting his warlock contact, he betrayed his God. He also took a vow of vengeance as a youth which he broke by no longer seeking to kill the man who killed him

I would like to mention that my characters subconscious can cause him to have gaps in memory. For example, If something that he truly desires is infront of him, he will almost go into autopilot like hes lost in the moment with it. Most of the time the trance can be broken by simply calling to him.

He would have moved to Estalia more recently in his life (probably the last 4 year's) with no home and not much money

He would steal in order to feed him. And often steal to feed others if they asked. Though he was not very good at it

Eventually being caught, he would have assaulted an officer to escape

That's why he's there. Hiding out

Nobody knows exactly what happened to Brogran, as he simply disappeared one day without saying goodbye. He appears sometimes in folk stories, but most believe that he moved as far away as possible.
