Davos Djerde

A famous Estalian Admiral during The Second Estalian-Disorganized War.
Originally from Adoris, Davos Djerde came from a long line of whalers. Generations of his family had lived in the region, making a living hunting extremely valuable Black Whales. Facing the rough northern seas on a regular basis, Davos proved himself a very capable sailor.
Upon reaching adulthood, he left Adoris to the nearby town of Kymene to join the Estalian navy. Over several decades, he worked hard, rising through the ranks, until ultimately achieving the rank of admiral.
After the outbreak of the Second Estalian-Disorganized War, Davos completed several successful campaigns against both the Aedan navy, as well as various pirates seeking to capitalize on his distraction. His campaigns spanned the coast, where he achieved victories at Tigerlily Island, Land's Edge, and Carlis. Despite these victories, he was unable to achieve an absolute victory due to being spread thin and the defenses of Aryendon Citadel.
Against his recommendations, The Silver Legion made a pre-emptive attack against Clarenware Woods, which drew in the strongest military power - Sylvia - into the war. Receiving news of the Sylvian navy departing Port Narvalis, Davos and his navy needed to make a short-notice sprint to the northern coast.
The two navies met just south of the Northern Isles, in a storm which had drifted over from the nearby Roil. For three days they fought through the rain and lightning, until the Estalian fleet was defeated. Davos' body was never recovered, however, survivors reported that he was seen looking to the southeast, towards the stony shores of Adoris and Kymene.
