Land's Edge

At the southernmost point of the Summer Shores lies the Pirate Cove of Land's Edge. Affectionately known as "the end of te world", Land's Edge is surrounded on two sides by The Great Barrier, and one side by The Brightwater. Most of the inhabitants consist of pirates who make frequent raids on trading ships hoping to pass by The Roil to the south. Despite its popularity, at first glance, it appears as a relatively small settlement, as much of the ships and dealings are stowed away in various large tunnels and hidden coves in The Great Barrier's seaside cliff face.

Reaching the Edge

In the shores surrounding Land's Edge is a carefully mantained field of Hullbreaker Crab dens. These dens serve as a natural defense for the city, preventing ships from getting close without risking their hulls. These fields are maintained by a group of Samites who both influence and track the placement of these dens, but also swim out to incoming ships to provide guidance (for a small fee, of course).
