History
Initially established by the Stouton Family, the village was almost 100% halfling for the first century of its existence. Though this soon changed as Humbleburrow became a small safe haven in the surrounding shivermist woodlands. Soon traveling families of Haregon made the place their home finding comfort with the pleasant and hospitable halflings. Throughout the time since the settling of the Halflings there had been much trade with some of the small tribes of forest gnomes within the woodlands there had never been much reason for the communities to integrate until around 995 PWS when due to the increase in bandit activity in the surrounding woodlands by the notorious bandit gang known as the shivers.
