Government
As a colonial outpost of the OXTU, itself being a colonial expansion of the Eluzian Empire, the town of Siren's call follows a standard formula of government.
The Town is overseen by a Magistrate, responsible for the day-to-day running of the settlement and ensuring any and all goods that are taxable are treated thusly.
The magistrate is responsible for law and order, including the establishment of any defenses, and defensive forces, policing of the settlement as well as overseeing any other members of the Local government.
In most cases within the OXTU, the Magistrate will oversee at least 3 individuals;
Wachtmeestere - Sergeant/Captain of the Local Militia
Handelsmeester - Harbourmaster and controller of imports and exports
Steuerberater - Taxman collector of the local tithe
Defences
The Galus Walk - A heavily defended suspension bridge hung between to large towers, armed with Ballista. Below the bridge hang large logs, hung vertically with iron spikes driven in.
The Jungle Wall - Facing westwards into the jungle, the wall itself is constructed of large wooden timbers driven deep into the ground, on the outside the jungle has been pushed back and a earthen embankment has been raised with spiked logs facing outwards.
On the inner wall there is a walkway to allow the Militia to patrol and to large stone towers built solidly into either bank of the river.
Industry & Trade
Trade - Spices, exotic woods, precious metals, artifacts scavenged from the surrounding jungle.
Infrastructure
The town of sirens call main development is the Mermian Wharf, a U-Shaped Dock in the cove.
The town also has a small lighthouse, which looks out over the Northern cliff face leading to the cove.
Districts
Kruid Baazar - The market district that surrounds the Northeastern side of the docks. Many of the town's commercial properties reside here.

Hornwood Spice Enterprise - a main member of the OXTU a mercantile guild of the Eluzian Empire.
History
Sirens Call was initially founded by the Great Explorer, of the now capitulated Astrian trade league, Angelic Astumora, traveling south her ship had been battered hard by the Storms of the Wilding straits and needing shelter to rest and repair both ship and crew, the captain had found the small enclosed bay. Astumora, quickly grew in size as many Astrian trade vessels docked and Astumora's journeys ever continued.
As time passed on and the Eluzian empire, took control of the settlement, as it consumed the trade league holdings one by one, the settlement and Astumora's Legend was pushed aside to make way for the Eluzian Ideals of coin before myth. The legend of Astumora's berthing in the cove became a tale of sirens calling to her in fair winds and she succoming to their song, what the truth is little is actually known...
Geography
Built around a cove, surrounded by tall cliff faces of a rough granite like rock.
The settlement is sheltered from the worst of all sea can throw at it.
To the west of the town, dense jungles of tropical boardleaf palms and obscuring ground vegatation.
