The Black peaks form to the eastern foothills of the great Xhirox chain
Geography
The base of the Black peaks or Tliltemeh as it is commonly known to the locals, is nestled deep within the tropical rainforest that cover the eastern coast of Xihrokash.
The steep black sides of the mountainous lake opening is dominated by the three great peaks of the range. Itstlaximatepostli, which forms the southern shoulder of the mountain tarn. Ueytetl the tallest of the 3 great obsidian peaks. Kuautinia, the great northern mountain that forms the northern edge of the mountain tarn, the inner mountainside falling near vertically and forming an enormous cliff face where two great waterfalls flow from the tallest being Teo'toatl or Gods water which forms into the river of the same name that flows from the deep lake of Tupanguera espejo down to the serpentile coast
Ecosystem
The lower reaches of the the Tliltemeh range is covered in the dense jungles that cover much of the lands between the serpentile coast and the Xhirox chain. Lush evergreen woodlands, home to multitude of unique flora and fuana.
As you travel upwards into the upper reaches of the mountain range the temperature begins to drop and the trees and undergrowth begins to become more sparce in these areas.
