Starborne (stär-bôrn)
Starborne are supposedly cosmic deities that are created from the Celestial Being Rugiv. However, worshippers of Mhiri have claimed that Mhiri created the first Starborne.
According to the celestial worshippers, Starborne are deceased mortals revived into new beings by a celestial being. These cosmic entities embody a star and have two separate forms. A "normal" form, where the Starborne's physical appearance permanently becomes whatever physical appearance the Starborne had in mortality that would be classified as their body's "Prime" and a star-like form of the silhouette of whatever species they are, which acts as a much smaller and hence weakened version of the actual star itself they embody. This star-like form can also be a dead giveaway to how old the Starborne is, as this form's type of star corresponds with the typical aging of a star. Starborne do not physically age in their average form, however, their star-like form damages their average one and can cause the Starborne's physical body to become temporarily weak and sensitive. Prolonged time in their star form can also cause overstimulation which can be very emotionally distressing for the Starborne.
The First Starborne's creator is debated between the two sides, causing a lot of discourse and tension between the two (As if there wasn't plenty of that already.). Nonetheless, The First Starborne's origins would make much more sense if they were created by both Celestial Beings. In what is recorded of them, they were a very neutral and reclusive person. Any acts they made on the universe were acts they made for people who couldn't make up their own minds in tough decisions, meaning the decision they made for that person was a very controversial one, as the most neutral answer is not always the right move to make. However, The First Starborne seemingly disappeared a century or so ago, so you can't exactly go and ask them.
