Duncan and Ophelia grew up together with little to no quarrel, sometimes there would be arguments about Ophelia causing too much noise when Duncan's trying to read, but overall they've managed to survive together. Even though they live apart, Duncan still misses his sister and family and the moments they all had together.

Duncan and Malcolm held a unique brother bonding relationship. They didn't interact too much due to their directions. Malcolm did enjoy the attention that Duncan provided, yet he still envied the things that their parents allowed Duncan to do, but not Malcolm. Even though Malcolm held such envy, he still loves his brother for the care he provides for him.

It was the few moments of Duncan teaching Malcolm responsibilities or helping Malcolm read is when Malcolm and Duncan bonded the most and they both understood what lengths they'll go for to ensure eachother is safe.
