Adelberg van Kymden
Adelberg grew up as part of a minor noble family close to Ryttenhaus. Being the third son there was little he could hope to inherit and therefor was send to a temple of Caldis to be trained as a cleric. As anyone grewing up surrounded by farmers and ranchers he knew how important Caldis's role was for mankind to survive and he eagerly took up studying the knowledge offered by the temple.
Adelberg wasn't just interestedin learning about his deity he was also a strong child and even stronger adult that was used to help around a farm and also protect it from wildlife or other threats. Many priest saw a young man with a great potential to represent the church. Devoted and unflinging when starring into the darkness he represented what Caldis expected from his priests.
As he rose through the ranks he proved to be the perfect candidate for the temple in Rykthaven, as that dark place needed a strong hand to protect it from nature and dark forces. As soon as he arrived there he started to join expeditions to hunt down threats. He even picked up his signature weapon - a shield with an attached dagger to stick out more and build up his reputation in the city.
As of now most people in the city know the fierce cleric of Caldis.
In early 437 YoU the temple was assaulted by an unknown group during the night. Adelberg was found decapitated and burned along his church. The head wasn't found on the site.
