Olfric Fireheart Lightbringer of Iiudash
Olric was born in the Kingdom of the Phoenix, in a family that can trace its line to dwarfen slaves from Dhor Adamant. While its highly unusual for a dwarf under this circumstances to end up serving as a cleric in a human church, Olric is a devoted priest of Iiudash, not caring for the sins of the humans that enslaved his people, but following the teaching of a god that pushes against evil.
Due to his dwarfen heritage he was adviced to take a position in Rykthaven, thus leaving the racial tension in his homeland behind, while there was hope that being a dwarf it would be easier for the people to accept him just as a priest and not view him with the typical prejudice of being a spy of the Phoenix King.
On his way to Rykthaven he met Farkasz while being in the region of Liberty Lake. He hired the ranger as protection for the journey north, but on the way the two became fast friends. Olric is an honest and easy to like person. He believes in his gods teaching and sees himself as the light to protect all people from the dangers in the darkness. His many scars serve as a reminder that he will put himself infront of any danger to protect those who can't protect themselves. At the same time he also doesn't work outside the law and even if its against his moral views, he will uphold it and instead work on change the system the proper way, without taking shortcuts.
After finding out that reavers tricked him to believe innocent victims of cultists during the Day of the Demons were affected with a plague and he needed to burn them to protect the city, he sought revenge by hurling fireballs at the warehouse the Reavers were stationed. Olric set the building on fire and killed one of the reavers in the street, before being overwhelmed. Later that night Farkasz discovered the body of his friend.
