Valderbach, Piotr

Little was known of Piotr Valderbach. A man that was most only noticed once he started representing Obus Beq in his duties as city councilor. Even then many tried to ignore the sickly looking man devoid of any personality or interests beyond serving his master.
Valderbach seemed to come from a family that had been serving the Beq family for a few generations as majordomos. His age was difficult to guess due to his generally unhealthy appearance and demenor. Many would've guessed him probably older than he really was.   His remarkable lack of charisma maked him an odd choice to be the voice of a councilor, but at the same time its very clear that Valderbach's actions were completely backed by Obus and his authority to act on the councilors behalf was never questioned. For those in doubt the huge heavily armoured guards following him around from Obus's retinue served as a reminder.
In 442 YoU, while Obus Beq was missing, Valderbach was still to be found at the estate though nobody looked for him. After Bloddwyn and his companions attacked the villa and were captured Valderbach got a mission from the exalted glabrezu who had replaced Obus as lord of the estate. Thalos'Khulebin first tortured the monster hunter and his friends for a while, but as he discarted Bloddwyn in Rykthaven he gave Valderbach the young man's equipment and sent him off. Obus Beq's servant was expected to be caught by Bloddwyn on his revenge trail and pass on an offer from Thalos.   Valderbach was allowed to take Beq's body guards with him as he tried to outrun Bloddwyn, but eventually one night the hunter found him. Valderbach was awakened in his bed, with all his guards killed. Bloddwyn interogated the servant about his companions and Valderbach told truthfully what he knew about Jhessalia, who was released the day after they were caputred, Bernard, who the demons said was killed and in a failted attempt to negotiate his freedom he reveled also the fate of Yandrak who was suposedly brought to Jarkkhul. After sharing everything he knew and explaining Thalos offer of sparing Rykthaven if the head of his dreagloth son was returned before the next Night of Demons he was killed by Bloddwyn. Then the blood hunter decapitated him and burned the servant's head. The body was sent back to Rykthaven on a chart with a letter from Bloddwyn with the note 'I accept'.
