Green Mountain

Green Mountain was not always called Green Mountain. In 533, during the very early stages of the 100-year war, the inhabitants of Southern Corsith didn’t have many expensive or high quality metals at their exposal as most of it was being used for military gear or manatech.
Only having cheap scraps for arts and crafts, people began nailing brass pieces to the tallest mountain of the country for every baby born in the area to celebrate life in the times of devastation and war.
Over the next decades, the mountain got entirely covered in brass from every side and was left standing as a monument called Red Mountain dedicated to the, among others, Dwarven culture.
Due to oxidation, the metal scraps turned green with time, giving the popular tourist attraction and even pillage point for some its renowned name Green Mountain. Happy that other people are fascinated by the work of their people, Dwarven vendors in Krupin and all around the foot of Green Mountain sell handmade, tiny Brass mountains which also turn green over time. The people born in the time of Red Mountain whose names got etched into metal pieces are known throughout the land and often asked for stories about growing up during the war.
